  • Leek Show 2019

    Not the brightest of days, but it is dry in the Craft Tent!  We have our small exhibition of prints in the centre of the craft tent, down at Leek Show. If you are visiting the Show, come in and say hello. The Craft Tent is on the opposite side of the venue from previous years, fairly close to the Pavilion.

They are looking for a photographer to help them celebrate their Volunteer Star Awards evening in style.     Our Awards and Presentation Dinner at The Winking Man proved to be a very successful evening.  Our guest for the evening - Peter E Cheetham - selected the two best images (and runner up) in print and pdi from the top 3 placed images from each competition, as well as presenting all the trophies.  As can be seen from the photograph, David Travis had a very successful night!   • NCPS Challenge 2019

    On Wednesday 20th March and Thursday 21st March, the annual North Cheshire Photographic Society Challenge will take place at Poynton Civic Hall, Poynton, Cheshire, SK12 1RB.  Doors open at 7pm both evenings, and the events start at 8pm prompt.  Wednesday night is the Print competition, and there are 80 prints entered from 16 Clubs, The PDI entry is slightly higher, 100 images from 20 Clubs.   • Bambury Trophy

    The fourth External Competition of the season took place last week at Stoke for the Bambury Trophy.  5 clubs took part - Ashbourne, Blythe Bridge, Newcastle, Stoke & Leek and the judge for the evening was Peter Gennard.
